URGENT REQUEST!!
GRANT MATCHING FUNDS NEEDED
|
|
|
| One of the great challenges we face
in providing services in our rural area
is in the area of funding. We operate
under a HUD Supported Housing Project
grant to provide transitional housing
and supportive services to the homeless.
These funds provide for all operating
expenses of our facility and our programming.
We are still in need of matching funds
to finish this years operations.
We must raise $30,000 beginning
now and to be finished by the end of December. We
are asking for your help. If you
can give towards this need, we are very
appreciative.
Donations may be sent to:

FORT SCOTT PROJECT BEING CONSIDERED
|
|
|
| My Father's House Community Services
is currently seeking partnerships in the
Fort Scott
community to develop housing for the homeless.
Current plans include applying for funding
to provide an emergency shelter program
and transitional housing programs.
In our Paola project we have partnered with schools, youth groups, community
organizations, churches, businesses, government agencies and individuals. These partnerships
have provided us with physical labor for
facility renovations, gifts-in-kind to furnish, decorate
and stock the facility and contributions
to provide matching funds for grants and pay other program
expenses. Both programs could be in
place and operating as soon as early 2008.
Our local contact person is Homeless
Advocate, Michael Nash. He may be contacted by email, michaelnash@my-fathers-house.com, or by calling (620) 223-1216.
You may also contact our main campus in Paola, info@my-fathers-house.com, or (913) 294-3600. We will be
updating our web site as progress
is made. For more information about
our organization visit our web site, www.my-fathers-house.com. |
