| Why
a Moterpool? |
| Transportation is important for living independently in our modern
culture. People need to get to and from doctors appointments, jobs,
schools, stores and a multitude of other places to live responsibly.
Also, in our rural setting, very often people can find more lucrative
jobs in the suburbs or further into the city. Reliable transportation
is an important component to helping people recover from poverty.
Mass transportation is virtually nonexistent in rural areas. Car
pooling is rarely practical with the varieties of places may need
to visit on the way to and from their jobs. Rarely do people within
a rural area find employment at the same places and on the same
shifts. |
